333 Premium Export Beer 3-on-3
3-on-3 “street” style basketball is the most widely played version of the game in the world, with origins from the streets of the USA. This 3-on-3 “street” style basketball tournament made its debut with ACBA on the 7th November, 1999. The event was made possible by the support of Mr Tony Tu, Director of Tus Holdings Pty Ltd, importers of 333 Premium Export Beer from Vietnam, is the sponsor of this event.
The competition was divided into two divisions for the Men and one division for the Women. Games were held at the KGV Recreation Centre, Cumberland Street, The Rocks and attracted a total of 22 teams. The competition was organised with the assistance of Mr H T Tran and Mr James Lane. All the competitors enjoyed a day of fun as well as intense basketball.
We are very fortunate that Tus Holdings Pty Ltd was able to supply their beer at the venue and gave away gift packs to participating teams. Free T-shirts and caps were also given away as souvenirs, and the winning teams were also very happy with their prize money.
